HelixGel™ is a soft, opaque, water-washable anhydrous ointment base that is ideal for easy cleaning, moisturizing, and incorporating APIs. This proprietary formula synergistically blends Meadowsweet Flower Extract (Spiraea Ulmaria) and Yarrow Flower Extract (Achillea Millefolium), known for their astringent, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic properties, which can assist in wound healing. This anhydrous base also includes zinc acetate, known for its well-documented benefits in reducing inflammation and its styptic properties. As an added benefit, HelixGel™ is formulated with allantoin, known for regulating inflammation, stimulating fibroblast proliferation, and enhancing extracellular matrix synthesis, ultimately encouraging faster and more effective skin regeneration. This gel readily adheres to the skin, providing an easily water-washable, occlusive, moist environment that promotes optimal wound/burn healing, reduces pain, and promotes collagen production at the application site.
